Gold's Gym has been the authority on fitness since 1965 dating back to the original Gold's Gym in Venice, California. It was the place for serious fitness. Gold's Gym quickly became known as "The Mecca of Bodybuilding." In 1977 Gold's Gym received international attention when it was featured in the movie Pumping Iron that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno. Gold's Gym is the gym of preference for amateur and pro athletes, the entertainment industry and anyone who is serious about their health. With over 2.5 million members worldwide, Gold's Gym continues to change lives by helping people achieve their individual potential. In The 1990's Gold's Gym launched a range of home fitness equipment and accessories sponsoring famously the Gladiators, launching there products to the mainstream. It wasn't until 2002 that Gold's Gym launched their boxing equipment range. Today they are the U.K largest fitness accessories company. |
